Danny Oon

Danny Oon is the CEO and founder of Prestige Headhunters with 22 years of experience in the financial industry. Beginning with commodities in 1985 and subsequently covering both G7 and Emerging Markets currencies in various assignments in Tokyo and Singapore, he has established long-term relationships and built up a wealth of experience in the markets space.

In addition, Danny has also spent a number of years in Technology, dealing with front office systems for banks as a Regional Head.

Danny began his headhunting career in 2006 with Smith & Jessen as a Managing Partner. Since then, he has successfully built a platform with a focus on global markets, enabling him to help leading banks in Asia to make numerous complex and high profile hires. The understanding and relationships built during his eighteen years’ experience in the financial industry, coupled with his experience at Smith & Jessen as a Managing Partner are keys to success of Prestige Headhunters today. Danny’s deep insight into the market allows him to take a more consultative approach that will help clients grow their businesses.

Danny holds an MBA with Masters in eCommerce from Charles Sturt University, New South Wales Australia.
